Hi, I’m Val! And this is Primrose.
I'm an Asian-American ceramic artist living in Northern Colorado. My art is inspired by wildflowers, animals, and anything that speaks to me. I also enjoy experimenting with new surface decoration and glazing techniques.
Spooky season never leaves!
Every fall I watch OTGW, as one does. And every year, I make mugs to go along with it. Last year, I made this really nice, black matte glaze. The finish is incredibly smooth and silky. It is also a little hard to photograph. But trust me when I say that I think this is one of my favorite glaze and design pairings so far.
This set of ceramic mugs, thrown on the pottery wheel, is inspired by OTGW and features Enoch from Pottsfield. Both are glazed with a matte black finish on both the inside and outside of the mug, while the design itself is left bare and matte.
Due to the fact that I am a simple human bean, there may be slight variations in size and shape. Please see the listing photos for details before purchasing!
